Virginia Bovell, Vice President of Ambitious about Autism, discusses how she first reacted to discovering her son Danny has autism 15 years ago.
She also talks about how she became involved with the other parents who helped found TreeHouse School in 1997, and the challenges they faced developing the organisation into the thriving and purposeful national charity for children and young people with autism it is today.

I studied this poem when I was at school and I thought it was excellent. It is a poem that highlights all the evils and deplorable things that happen in our society and how they might influence a child, right from birth, if not before. Read it out loud, and read it a few times.
